About Me
Zoe Sameth is a bilingual (Spanish/English) educator, trainer, speaker and consultant. For more than thirty years she has worked with individuals and organizations to raise well-being, increase positive outcomes, and build strong and supportive, teams. Her Master’s degree is in Experiential Education with a focus on East/West Psychology.
Zoe’s trainings, keynotes and individual sessions support her clients in finding the focus, inspiration and inner resiliency to identify and bring their own vision of well-being into their personal lives, work and communities. Individuals and organizations are able to move more skillfully towards their goals while bringing more ease and enjoyment into their daily lives.
Living in Sri Lanka in 1983, Zoe was first exposed to mindfulness practices; she was also caught in the beginning of the Sri Lankan civil war. Her experiences there, along with her own mindfulness practice, led Zoe to learn, develop and teach a diversity of powerful and accessible techniques for reducing stress and cultivating increased awareness, connection, and resilience. In addition to her work locally and nationally, Zoe returned to Asia in 2011 and taught these skills to sex-trafficked women and their children, and to girls at risk in India and Nepal.
Zoe’s “Deep Relaxation” and “Calm Your Mind, Lift Your Spirit” CDs, in English and Spanish, are an excellent complement to her group trainings and one-on-one coaching sessions, and are used by individuals and organizations around the world.
Featured as a ¨Hometown Hero¨ by Channel 5 news for her work with Bay Area organizations and schools, Zoe is also the recipient of the Truman Scholarship, a U.S. government fellowship awarded annually to individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities. Zoe wrote an award winning solo show about her experiences living in Sri Lanka, which she performed locally and internationally.
Residing in Sebastopol, California near the Sonoma coast, Zoe can often be found hiking on the beach and nearby hills or writing stories and songs. Her passion for lifelong learning has fueled Zoe’s latest passionate pursuit — learning to play the ukulele.
